Privacy Policy
Overview
BIDZ Shopping (the "App") is operated by Bidz E Store Inc, a Tennessee corporation ("BIDZ", "we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your personal data.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data to operate the App and fulfill your orders.

How We Use Your Information
- Fulfill orders: process purchases, consolidate shipments at our Nashville warehouse, deliver to your address, calculate shipping and tax.
- Operate the service: authenticate your account, send push notifications about order status, show you products and prices, provide customer support via in-app chat.
- Improve the App: analyze aggregated retailer-visit patterns to surface popular stores on the home screen (visit data is deduplicated and anonymized in rankings).
- Comply with the law: retain tax and purchase records as required by Tennessee and U.S. federal tax law.
- Prevent fraud: detect unusual sign-in patterns, invalidate stolen credentials, block abusive behavior.
Third-Party Processors
We share the minimum data necessary with the following service providers. Each is contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we specify.
- Stripe — processes credit and debit card payments. We never see or store your card number.
- First Iraqi Bank (FIB) — processes wallet payments for buyers in Iraq.
- BIDZ Pay (operated by our partner Coin Rails) — processes BIDZ Pay crypto wallet transactions.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — delivers order and delivery notifications to your device.
- Serper and SerpApi — power product search and visual (image) search features. Only your search query or image is sent; your identity is not.
- Shipping carriers (FedEx, DHL, local Iraq logistics) — receive the delivery address needed to deliver your package.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. We do not share your data with social networks for ad targeting.
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Active account data (email, name, addresses, cart, favorites): kept while your account is active.
- Order records: retained for seven (7) years after purchase to meet U.S. tax and accounting law.
- Push notification tokens: deleted when you uninstall the App or disable notifications.
- Visit analytics (aggregated): kept for 30 days then purged.
- Support chat transcripts: kept for 12 months then purged.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Delete your account and the data we are not legally required to retain (see below).
- Opt out of push notifications at any time in iOS Settings or inside the App's Notifications screen.
- Export your order history by emailing support@bidz.store.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your BIDZ account at any time directly from the App. Open Profile → Personal Info → Delete Account. Confirm the request and tap "Sign in again" after your email client sends the deletion request.
Deletion requests are also accepted by email at bidzestore2022@gmail.com. We process every request within seven (7) business days.
When you delete your account, we remove: your email, name, phone, addresses, saved payment methods, favorites, cart, chat history, and session tokens. We retain only: completed orders, tax invoices, and legal records as required by law. These are kept for seven years and never used for marketing.
Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures: HTTPS for every network request, encrypted storage, Face ID / Touch ID gating on payments, JWT-based session management with automatic expiry, and server-side rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by law.
Children's Privacy
BIDZ Shopping is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email support@bidz.store and we will delete the account immediately.
International Users
Our servers are located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. We honor requests from users in all jurisdictions, including the European Union (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR), and California (CCPA).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App at least seven days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
